Succesfully transforming the world

Closing session Amphi 1 July 10, 2022 12:15 - 13:15

Overview

Are we facing an ultimatum for change? What transformations
can we learn from these two years of pandemic? Is the world now
in a permanent state of emergency – economic, geopolitical or
social? If risk was at the heart of the last decades, our future
seems to give way to uncertainty; are we able to cope with it?
The changes we have experienced during these last two years
allow us to conceive of new fields of possibility, in all aspects;
in the way we can transform our ways of life, but also those
of production, of governance, or even how we can reshape
globalisation.
In all these transformations, cooperation, whether at the most
local or global level, has been shown to be the central element
for success. Our future seems to be collective, and it is up to us to
determine in which fields these collaborations should take place,
and what forms they should take.
