Bio
Thomas Silberhorn is Member of the German Bundestag since 2002 and CDU/CSU Chief Legal Advisor.
From 2021 to 2025 Thomas Silberhorn was CDU/CSU Spokesperson for Transatlantic Relations. From 2018 to 2021, he served as Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Defence and from 2014 to 2018 as Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development.
By profession, Thomas Silberhorn is a lawyer. He studied law in Erlangen, Munich and Bayreuth and worked as assistant professor at the University of Bayreuth from 1994 to 2000.
