Bio
Former Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Tunisia. He previously served as Special Advisor to the President of the African Development Bank. He has held senior positions in various international institutions. Hakim Ben Hammouda holds a PhD in International Economics and a Habilitation to Supervise Research. He teaches development economics and international economics at several universities. He is the author of more than 30 books, as well as numerous articles in academic journals and columns in various newspapers. Hakim Ben Hammouda is also one of the founders and a leader of the Global Institute for Transitions.
