Jeanne POLLES

  • President
  • PHILIP MORRIS FRANCE

Bio

As a young graduate in marketing from Esig, Jeanne Polles joined Philip Morris at the age of 23 as a field commercial. Following this operational experience, she was promoted to Sales Director in 1998, then Marketing & Sales Director in 2002. Three years later she became the first president of Philip Morris France SAS. In 2013, she joined the group's international headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, as senior vice president corporate affairs for all activities worldwide. She then served the Comex of Philip Morris International, becoming the first woman to be part of this governance body. Two years later, she was appointed head of the American continent (excluding the United States) as "President Latin America & Canada". She moved to New York with her husband and child to manage a market that represented 10% of the group's activity. This area was a major industrial challenge for Philip Morris International as thirteen of the group's 48 factories were in eight South American countries, for which she was in charge. In July 2018, at the request of her family, she crossed the Atlantic again and took over the presidency of Philip Morris France. There, she leads the transformation of the company to leave cigarettes and create a smoke-free world through the sales of reduced risk products (heated tobacco in particular).
