Bio

Jean-Louis Girodolle, CEO of Lazard Frères, joined Lazard in 2007 as Managing Partner. He has mainly advised large French and international companies on mergers and acquisitions and other strategic financial transactions. Previously, Mr. Girodolle was Deputy Director of the French State Holdings Agency from 2003 to 2006. Between 1998 and 2003, he held various positions within the Ministry of Economy and Finance, including that of technical advisor to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry from 2000 to 2002. Jean-Louis Girodolle began his career in 1994 at the Inspection Générale des Finances.
