Bio


Since 1998 Emmanuelle Auriol has been a full professor at Toulouse School of Economics. She is a fellow of the IUF, EEA, CEPR, EUDN, CESifo and an editor of several academic journals. Her research interests include industrial organization, regulation, labor and development economics. Throughout the years she received several grants and awards for her research, which has been published in top international journals. Her research has also been featured in stories in the press, on television and radio. She chaired from 2015 to 2018 the EEA Standing Committee on Women in Economics (WinE). She is also a member of the Cercle des Economistes and the Conseil d'Analyse Economique and since December 2020, she is Vice President for International Relations at the University of Toulouse I Capitole. She regularly collaborates on research and training contracts with the French Development Agency and the World Bank. She is the author of the book "Pour en finir avec les Mafias", which has received several awards.
