Akiko Suwa-Eisenmann is Senior Researcher at INRAE (National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment), at the Paris School of Economics. She works on Trade and Development. She also studies wealth distribution in France in the 19th and 20th centuries. She is the co-director of the Public Policy and Development (PPD) master of EHESS-ENS/PSL-ENPC. She has been the director of LEA, an INRA research unit in Paris between 2002 and 2009 and deputy director of PSE research team in 2010-2011. She has been in the steering committee and the administration board of PSE. She was an administrator at the OECD Development Centre. She has worked as consultant for the World Bank, the OECD, the EU commission, the Centre d’Analyse Stratégique and INSEE. She has taught at Paris 1 University, Institut International d’Administration Publique, Rennes 1 University. She has graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure, Sciences Po and EHESS.
