What Technological Disruptions are in Store for the 21st Century?

Session 5

In the next decade, innovations will naturally disrupt uses and markets and cause some products to disappear while others emerge.
We find that digital technology directly or indirectly fuels nearly all of tomorrow’s innovations, whether by transforming how we work, changing how people and objects communicate, or even improving the performance of equipment.

The Millennial Generation are digital natives, meaning that those 2.5 billion people under the age of 35 are certain to adopt these new tools that match how they think. This is a major challenge for countries that want to (re)establish growth and full employment.
