Investment as the Accelerator of the World’s History

Session 24

What future do we want to invent? Confronted as it is with global challenges, the international community demands a pick-up in investment. Can the institutional framework such that it is boost investment? Demography may turn Africa into an innovation hot bed and a number of emerging countries use their debt as a leveraging diplomatic tool. In such conditions, will multilateral policies allow major powers to maintain their ranks or will new conflicts bring about a much-predicted new geopolitical balance?
