Valérie Hacot has been deputy editor-in-chief in charge of the business desk at the daily newspaper Libération since August 2025. Previously, she served as deputy editor and senior reporter in the politics section of Le Parisien for 10 years, and as deputy editor and reporter in the economics section of Le Parisien for 15 years, focusing primarily on social issues. She also authored a book on La Poste (La face cachée de la Poste), published by Flammarion in 2015.
