Bio
A former Secretary of the Conference and then lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal, Thierry Derez joined the AM-GMF group in 1995, where he was appointed Chairman in 2001. He became Chairman of MAAF in 2005 and then of MMA in 2007. From 2008 to 2022, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Covéa, before becoming Chief Executive Officer from 2022 to 2025. In 2022, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of PartnerRe. In 2025, he became Chair of the Board of Directors of Covéa.
