Symeon G. Tsomokos is the Founder and President of the Delphi Economic Forum, an independent, impartial and non-profit organization committed to promoting innovative ideas in support of sustainable and competitive growth in Southeastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.
He founded SGT S.A. in Athens in 1997, followed by TGI in Belgrade in 2001. He is also the founder of several bilateral economic dialogue platforms, including the Business Council for Greece-United States, the Greek-Hungarian Business Council and the Greek-Egyptian Business Council. In 2006, he also established the Greece-Serbia Chamber of Commerce.
Before launching his own initiatives, Symeon G. Tsomokos served as Commercial Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Athens from 1973 to 1980, and then as Director General of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce from 1980 to 1997.
He also served as Secretary General and Treasurer of the Council of American Chambers of Commerce in Europe between 1990 and 1993, as well as Secretary General of the Business Council Greece-Turkey from 1993 to 1998.
In 1993, he was named an Eisenhower Exchange Fellow. He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business and of Varvakeio High School.
