Reza PAHLAVI

  • Iranian Opposition

Bio

Reza Pahlavi is today the central figure of Iran’s democratic opposition. For many years, he has advocated for the emergence of a free, democratic and secular Iran, founded on respect for fundamental rights, equality of all citizens before the law, and recognition of the religious, cultural and social plurality that characterizes Iranian society. Supported by a broad range of Iranians across generations and regions of the country, he seeks to bring together the various forces of the opposition in order to foster a peaceful and orderly democratic transition.

Through the Rise Iran initiative, Reza Pahlavi seeks to unite opposition movements around three fundamental principles: the preservation of Iran’s territorial integrity, the protection of individual freedoms and equality among citizens, and a clear separation between religion and the state. He does not advocate the restoration of the monarchy, nor does he seek to impose any particular political model. Rather, he presents himself as the guarantor of a free and fair constitutional process, at the end of which the Iranian people alone will be sovereign in determining the nature of their future system of governance.

Reza Pahlavi also supports the Iran Prosperity Project, an ambitious initiative aimed at preparing the country’s political, economic and social transition. This plan proposes concrete measures to stabilize and rebuild Iran, restore the confidence of the international community in order to encourage investment, and strengthen democratic institutions. Through this vision, he aspires to the emergence of a peaceful, prosperous Iran, fully committed to regional stability and international cooperation.
