
Bio
A graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, Philippe Michel Labrosse began his career at a group provident insurance company before joining PFA Vie (Athena Assurances) in 1994, where he became Head of the savings and financial products division, then Director of the exclusive life insurance agents and brokers network. In 1998, following the acquisition of Athena Assurances by AGF (Allianz), Philippe Michel Labrosse joined the AGF Vie executive committee, taking responsibility for brokerage activities and savings associations. In 2000, within the Allianz Group, he was appointed Head of Personal Insurance for South America, based in Brazil. Returning to France in late 2002, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of financial company W Finance, then Chief Executive Officer of the group’s life insurance companies — AVIP, Arcalis, Génération Vie, among others — before also taking charge of collective retirement schemes and provident insurance partnerships at AGF-Allianz. He retained the chairmanship of W Finance throughout this period. In 2013, he joined the Finance and Savings division of Groupe Macif, becoming Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary Mutavie and a board member of OFI Asset Management. In 2017, as part of an entrepreneurial venture, Philippe Michel Labrosse joined Groupe Crystal as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, contributing to its growth into one of France’s leading independent investment advisory firms. In this capacity, he notably took over the management of Alpheys in 2019, a platform of financial and wealth management products and services dedicated to wealth management professionals. In 2021, drawing on three decades of experience in the insurance and investment advisory sector, Philippe Michel Labrosse joined Aéma Groupe and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Abeille Assurances on 30 September 2021. Philippe Michel Labrosse holds the rank of Chevalier in both the Ordre National du Mérite and the Légion d’Honneur.
