Bio
Pauline Rossi is a professor of economics at the Ecole Polytechnique – CREST and an affiliated researcher at CEPR. She graduated from HEC Paris and defended her PhD thesis in economics at the Ecole d'Economie de Paris. Before joining the Ecole Polytechnique, she was a professor at the University of Amsterdam and a visiting professor at Yale University. His research focuses on the development economy and the family economy. His papers have been published in leading scientific journals such as Review of Economic Studies, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, or Journal of Development Economics. In 2021, she received a research grant from the European Union (ERC Starting Grant) to study how social interactions, via peer effects and matching mechanisms, shape population dynamics. Nominated for the 2023 edition of the Prix du Meilleur Jeune Economiste (PMJE).
