Nathalie Marchak is a French screenwriter and director, serving as the Vice President of the ARP (French Guild for Scriptwriters, Directors, and Producers). She holds a Masters Degree in Law from Panthéon-Assas University, an MBA from ESSEC Business School, an LL.M from Harvard Law School and a certificate in filmmaking from New York University. After brief acting stints in films like "The Parisians" by Claude Lelouch and "The russian dolls " by Cédric Klapisch, Marchak transitioned to behind the scenes work, heading operations at SOFICA UNI ETOILE. She has directed several short films, including "HAPPY NEW YEAR," featuring Anne Charrier, Philippe Lefebvre, and Grégoire Bonnet. The film was broadcast on OCS and TF1, and she debuted as a writer-director of feature films in 2017 with "OUT OF INSTINCT," starring Alexandra Lamy. This film aired on Canal+, Cine+, and currently on Amazon Prime Video France. Marchak created, co-wrote, and directed the mini-series "LES SIFFLEURS," starring Nadia Fares and Charles Berling, which aired on France 2 in March 2023. The series topped viewer ratings and won the Media Club Elles 2024 Trophy. She is currently preparing her next feature film as a director, produced by Rosalie Cimino (Anonymous Federation) and Valérie Garcia (Gabman Films). The original screenplay for "A BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY" was included in the inaugural WScripted Cannes Screenplay List, highlighting high-potential international scripts by women. Marchak is also a jury member for the 2024 WScripted Cannes Screenplay List at the Cannes Film Festival, alongside actress Vanessa Kirby.
