Bio
Michel Wieviorka is a sociologist and Director of Studies at EHESS. His research focuses on violence, terrorism, racism and anti-Semitism, as well as on issues relating to democracy, ethics and social and cultural movements. He is a former president of the International Sociology Association and of the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme. He was a member of the ERC Scientific Advisory Board.
