Bio
Louis Dreyfus has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Le Monde Group (Le Monde, HuffPost, Télérama, Le Nouvel Obs, Le Monde diplomatique, La Vie, Courrier international) since 2010.
He began his career in New York in 1993, where he spent six years as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for Hachette Filipacchi Magazines. He then served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the La Provence group, before successively holding the positions of Managing Director at Libération, Le Nouvel Observateur, and Les Éditions Indépendantes (the publishing company of Les Inrockuptibles) between 2001 and 2008.
Louis Dreyfus is an alumnus of the London School of Economics and a graduate of HEC Paris business school.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the École Supérieure de Journalisme de Lille (ESJ Lille) and a member of the Board of Directors of Agence France-Presse (AFP).
