Laurence Boone currently holds several key economic positions. She was Secretary of State to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, with responsibility for Europe. She is also a member of the SDA Bocconi Strategic Council and an associate professor at Sciences-Po. Her impressive career includes positions of great responsibility, notably as Deputy Secretary-General of the OECD, Chief Economist of the OECD and Director of the Economic Affairs Department. She also served as economic advisor to French President François Hollande, with major roles in economics and finance. She has worked at AXA, BofA Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital, in a variety of management positions. Laurence Boone holds a PhD in Applied Econometrics from London Business School, as well as various degrees in economics and modeling. She has published on major economic topics, including European economic policy coordination and the European financial crisis. Her fields of expertise are diverse, including macroeconomics, European policy and public finance. Her remarkable career testifies to her expertise and commitment to international economics.
