Bio
Jérôme Béglé was born in May 1971. He began his career as a journalist at Match from 1996 to 2009, where he served first as a literary critic and later as editor-in-chief of the culture section. He was subsequently appointed deputy editor-in-chief at Le Figaro, and later at Le Point. In 2022, after 10 years at Le Point, he was appointed Managing Editor of Le JDD, then of Paris Match in August 2023. The following year, he was appointed editor-in-chief of the newspaper: “This return to my roots reflects my desire to restore this newspaper’s roots and its Champagne spirit, while anchoring it in the storytelling formats of tomorrow: social media, stories, images, series, breaking news…”
