Isabelle MEJEAN has been a professor in the Economics Department at Sciences Po since 2021, and is affiliated with the Centre de politiques et de recherches économiques (CEPR). Her editorial contributions include editor-in-chief of the journal "Economic Policy" since October 2021, and she has just completed a term as co-editor-in-chief of the "European Economic Review". Since 2020, she has been a member of the Conseil d'Analyse Économique, and also sits on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Kiel Institute and OFCE. Isabelle MEJEAN specializes in international macroeconomics and international trade. Her research focuses on the structure of trade networks between companies and their impact on various global economic indicators. In 2016, she was awarded the AFSE-Malinvaud prize for her article entitled "Firms, Destinations, and Aggregate Fluctuations" published in Econometrica in 2014. In 2020, Isabelle MEJEAN won the PMJE, awarded jointly by the Cercle des Économistes and Le Monde. Prior to joining Sciences Po, Isabelle MEJEAN taught at Polytechnique since 2007. She has also held economist positions in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and at CEPII. Isabelle MEJEAN obtained a PhD in economics from the University of Paris I in 2006.
