AFTE : Member since 2004, he was elected Director in 2008, then Chairman in April 2021. After graduating from HEC in 1985, Daniel Biarneix joined the Saint-Gobain group. He held several management control and CFO positions in Germany, France, Italy and Brazil, before becoming Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for the worldwide insulation business (1996-1999) and then for the flat glass business (2000-2003). Since 2004, he has been deputy group CFO at Compagnie de Saint-Gobain, in charge of treasury and financing, relations with rating agencies and insurance. From 2009 to 2021, he has also overseen the implementation of financial shared service centers, and the digitalization of the finance function.
