Claudia Senik is a professor at Sorbonne University and at the Paris School of Economics, she also holds important positions in the field of economic research. She works as director of the Observatory of well-being at Cepremap (Centre for economic research and its applications) and is a member of IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn). Claudia Senik, a former student of the École Normale Supérieure, holds a doctorate from EHESS (Ecole des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales). Her main areas of expertise include the economics of subjective well-being, exploring the sources of well-being at work and in business, as well as analyzing women’s behavior at school and in the labor market. Her research work has significant implications for understanding and improving women’s quality of life, happiness and participation in education and the professional world.
