Christian Saint-Etienne is an emeritus professor, holder of the Jean-Baptiste Say Chair in Industrial Economics at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, and has held various high-level positions, notably as a member of the Conseil d'Analyse Économique, a professor at the Université de Paris-Dauphine, economist at the IMF and the OECD. He is a seasoned expert in industrial economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has completed master’s degrees in economics at the London School of Economics and Carnegie Mellon University.
Among his main publications are important works, notably "Le liberalisme stratège contre le chaos du monde" published by Éditions Odile Jacob in September 2020, "Trump and Xi-Jiping – The Sorcerer’s Apprentices" published by Éditions de l'Observatoire in March 2020, as well as "Osons l'Europe des nations" published by the Observatory in January 2018. His areas of expertise cover monetary and financial policy, public finances and taxation, as well as the strategy and competitiveness of governments and companies. His extensive research and experience provide valuable insights into crucial issues in contemporary economics.
