Céline GIMET is a professor of international economics and finance at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques d'Aix-en-Provence. She is a researcher at the AMSE (Aix-Marseille School of Economics). She was a lecturer at the University of Lyon 2 and at the IEP of Aix-en-Provence, then a university professor at the University of Franche-Comté before joining Sciences Po Aix.
Her academic research mainly focuses on international macroeconomics and finance through the study of monetary union projects in light of recent crises. She has also worked on issues in development economics and climate change economics. His analyses have been the subject of about twenty publications in international journals, numerous communications at international symposia and several reports for international institutions (Plan Bleu-WFP-UNEP, FEMISE, UN). She is an associate editor of the journals International Review of Financial Analysis and Research in International Business and Finance.
