A graduate of HEC, Céline Brucker began her career in 1997 with L'Oréal in the United States as a product manager. She worked in the US marketing department for nine years, holding the position of VP of color marketing for L'Oréal Paris from 2002 to 2006. She then returned to Europe as Garnier's Marketing Director for Europe. In 2009, she was appointed General Manager of L'Oréal Paris in France, the first woman to hold this position in the country. She initiated the ELLE Active forum, which promotes the work and place of women in business. In 2013, Céline Brucker joined Chanel, where she held various positions of responsibility in the beauty and fragrance division. In 2017, she rejoined the L'Oréal Group and took over as head of the consumer division in France, with the aim of being "consumer-centric" to better anticipate and meet the expectations of consumers, distribution partners and teams. Céline Brucker helped consolidate the division and return it to growth in 2019, while preparing the challenges of the future, which include the reinvention of the beauty hygiene category, e-commerce and the launch of organic ranges and those with a reduced plastic footprint. In January 2023, she was appointed Managing Director of L'Oréal France, with the mission of continuing to create the beauty that moves the world forward.
