Carlos Enrique CAVELIER

Bio

Carlos Enrique has written for various well-known Colombian newspapers and has published four books, including his most recent, "Coordinando Sueños: el camino de Alquería hacia la sostenibilidad", in 2022. He currently writes for Portafolio, one of the most important media outlets in the country. Over the past 30 years, he has worked in the private sector as the Dream Coordinator at Alquería, a leading enterprise in Colombia's food industry, where he has overseen its expansion and growth. He currently chairs Alquería's Board of Directors. In 2021, Alquería became the largest company in Colombia to join the B Corp Movement. In 2010, he founded the Alquería-Cavelier Foundation to improve public education in the Cundinamarca region. More than 113,000 students, 4,600 teachers, and 100 public schools have benefited from the foundation's programs.
