Bio

Christopher Pratt has been a professional offshore sailor for more than twenty years, specializing in both solo and crewed ocean racing. As a professional offshore sailor, he has taken part in the world’s most demanding ocean races (Transat Jacques Vabre, Route du Rhum, Volvo Ocean Race, Vendée Globe), competing alongside some of the finest sailors in the sport. His career reflects not only technical mastery, but a profound understanding of teamwork, resilience and decision-making in extreme environments. In 2008, he founded MARSAIL, a company that has since become a reference in the field of sports-based leadership development. Through MARSAIL, Christopher designs immersive programmes for leaders and their teams, drawing on both his sailing experience and his collaborations with research laboratories (including Sport MG Performance – Aix-Marseille University) on motivation and decision-making under pressure. His work stands at the intersection of elite sport, scientific research and societal impact.
