Holder of a degree in advanced economic theory from the University of Nantes, a doctorate in economics and a habilitation to direct research from the University of Lille, Nathalie Chusseau is a professor at the University of Lille and member of the Lille Economics and Management laboratory (UMR 9221). She is also an associate researcher at the Chair of Demographic and Economic Transitions (TDTE) at the Institut Louis Bachelier in Paris.

His research themes are inequalities, education and human capital, employment and the labor market, public policies, and globalization.

Nathalie Chusseau is president of the TDTE Chair’s scientific council, permanent member and vice-president of the national scientific council of EPIDE (Etablissement Pour l'Insertion dans l'Emploi), administrator of the DomusVi corporate foundation, and member of the Jury of the Yves Journel Prize on the intergenerational link that she developed in partnership with the DomusVi Foundation and the TDTE Chair.
