Bio


Mr. LU Shaye was born in October 1964. He has a Bachelor degree. He started his diplomatic career from  1987, and as Attaché of the Embassy of China to Guinea 1988-1991. From 1991, he worked at the Department of African Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China until 2001. In the period of 2001-2003, he served as the Counselor of the Embassy of China to France. 2005-2009 he was the Ambassador of China to Senegal. 2009-2014 he was the Director-General of the Department of African Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 2014-2015 he was assumed the Vice Mayor of Wuhan, China. 2016-2019 he was the Ambassador of China to Canada.

From July 2019, Mr. LU Shaye served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of France.
