Speaker - Joint European Disruptive Initiative (J.E.D.I.)

Starting as an assistant to the CEO of Aerospatiale-Airbus, André Loesekrug-Pietri has spent over 15 years in private equity firms- including 10 years in China – investing in European companies with global ambitions. In 2017, he became Special Advisor to the French Minister of Defence, in charge of European Defense policy as well as technology.

He currently is speaker at the JEDI, The Joint European Disruptive Initiative. JEDI is an initiative from the civil society and precursor to the future European Agency for Disruptive Innovation. JEDI brings together a highly diverse group of 100 leaders- heads of research institutes, founders of deeptech startups, CEOs of tech corporates and major scientific figures- from the Deeptech ecosystem in France, Germany and other EU members.

Andre Loesekrug-Pietri is a graduate from HEC and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and was nominated Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum. He is also a private pilot and Colonel with the French Air Force People’s Reserve.
