Bio
Dr. Nils Redeker is Acting Co-Director of the Jacques Delors Centre, where he leads the Centre’s policy work on European economic policy. His research focuses primarily on European fiscal and economic policy, reforms of the EU’s economic governance framework, and Germany’s role within the European Union.
Before joining the think tank sector, he taught political economy at the University of Zurich and was a Visiting Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He has also worked as an external consultant for former German President Horst Köhler.
Nils Redeker studied political science and economics at Freie Universität Berlin and the London School of Economics. He holds a PhD from the University of Zurich, where his doctoral research focused on economic imbalances within the eurozone.
