Bio


Master Dominique Saatenang was born in the village of Bafou, Cameroon.

Inspired by Bruce Lee from an early age, he left Africa for China, where he became the first African to be officially trained at the legendary Shaolin Temple. A Kung Fu World Vice-Champion and a pioneer of African martial arts on the international stage, he is now a globally recognized figure dedicated to promoting martial arts as tools for peace, education, intercultural dialogue, and development.

He is the Founder and President of the International Committee of the FADAM Games (Federation for the Future and Martial Arts), an international organization that works to bring together different martial arts disciplines and combat sports around the values of peace, inclusion, solidarity, and international cooperation, in partnership with UNESCO and the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.

He also serves as President of the Organizing Committee of the FADAM World Games – Paris 2027, a major international event designed to bring together thousands of athletes, artists, and institutional representatives from around the world through martial arts, culture, and dialogue among peoples.

Founder of the African Martial Arts Festival, choreographer of large-scale performances, and a committed advocate for Sino-African cooperation, he has dedicated his life to building bridges between cultures and nations through sport and martial arts.

Recognized by UNESCO for his exceptional journey, he embodies perseverance, excellence, leadership, and mentorship for young people around the world.

Master Dominique Saatenang is a Key Speaker 'Meet My Mentor' in the Youth Programme 'Jeunesse(s)' of Le Cercle des économistes.
