Bio
Based in Normandy with his partners and collaborators for 25 years, Damien Charrier has been President of the National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants since 2024. He has placed his presidency under the sign of modernizing the profession, strengthening the role of chartered accountants as strategic partners of French companies, and recognizing their work, notably by public authorities and civil society, in France and internationally. He previously chaired the Regional Council of the Normandy Order of Chartered Accountants from 2016 to 2020 and held several strategic positions, including that of spokesperson for the IFEC group within the National Council. He also chaired MEDEF Calvados, a mandate that allowed him to build close ties with economic actors and to advocate for the voice of entrepreneurs at the heart of decision-making bodies. Very involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, he has also contributed to the work of Initiative Normandie. This triple anchoring, local, regional, and national, gives him a complete view of the expectations of professionals and the economic challenges ahead.
