Marta García Aller is a Spanish journalist and writer. She also directs and hosts the podcast Pausa, in which she explores the major shifts shaping the contemporary world. She is a columnist at El Confidencial and a daily contributor to Más de Uno (Onda Cero), one of the most influential radio shows in Spain. She is also a regular commentator on television programs such as Al Rojo Vivo on La Sexta. She is a recipient of the Salvador de Madariaga European Journalism Prize, awarded by the European Commission. She has been an adjunct professor at IE School of Human Sciences and Technology and at ICADE. She anticipated the future and the impact of technological change in her books El fin del mundo tal y como lo conocemos (Planeta, 2017) and Lo imprevisible. Todo lo que la tecnología quiere y no puede controlar (Planeta, 2020). In Años de Perro, her fifth book, she examines how social, political and technological change has accelerated over the past decade.
