Bio
Miguel Otero-Iglesias is Senior Fellow at the Elcano Royal Institute, Professor at the IE School of Global and Public Affairs, and Research Director at the Center for the Governance of Change at IE University.
He is the co-founder and coordinator of the European Think Tank Network on China (ETNC) and is also a Research Associate at the EU-Asia Institute at ESSCA School of Management in France.
Previously he was Assistant Professor in International Political Economy (IPE) at ESSCA in Paris, Adjunct Lecturer at Queen Elisabeth House at the University of Oxford, postdoctoral Research Fellow at LSE and Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
He has been a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations (Pontificia Universidade Catolica – PUC of Rio de Janeiro), the Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS) in Berlin and the College of Business at Alfaisal University in Riyadh.
He holds a Ph.D. International Political Economy (IPE) and a MA in IPE from the University of Manchester.
