Bio
Étienne Klein is a physicist, Director of Research at the CEA and holds a PhD in the philosophy of science. He heads the CEA’s Laboratory for Research on the Sciences of Matter (LARSIM). He also teaches the philosophy of physics at CentraleSupélec and hosts the radio programme La Conversation scientifique on France Culture.
Author of numerous books and recipient of several awards, he is a member of the Académie des Technologies. In 2025, alongside Thomas Pesquet, Étienne Klein published Éloges du dépassement.
Etienne Klein is also a member of the Scientific Council of the Youth programme "Jeunesse(s)" of the Le Cercle des économistes.
