Jean-Roch VARON

Bio

Jean-Roch Varon has served as CEO of EY France since July 1, 2024. Since 2021, he has led the Audit, Accounting and Financial Advisory, Forensic, and Sustainability services for both France and the Europe West region, which spans 25 countries and includes over 30,000 professionals. In this capacity, he has been a member of the Executive Committee for both France and Europe West. His leadership journey at EY France began in 2008, during which he has held several key positions. Jean-Roch brings deep sector expertise, having previously served as France and Global Head of Audit, Accounting and Financial Advisory for the Real Estate, Construction, and Hospitality sectors. He played a pivotal role in advancing cross-disciplinary initiatives within these industries. Additionally, he has supported numerous listed companies in the aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors, both in France and internationally, through audit engagements, financial advisory, and transaction services. While the majority of his career has been with EY in France, Jean-Roch has also worked as an expatriate in West Africa and Toronto, Canada. Jean-Roch is a chartered accountant. He graduated from Kedge Business School and holds a master’s degree in finance. He’s a Board member of Fondation Palladio (Fondation de France) and of AROP (Association for the promotion of the National Opera).
