Bio
Jean Paul Pollin, an associate professor in the faculties of law and economics, is emeritus professor at the University of Orléans. During his career, he held numerous scientific and educational responsibilities. He was notably president of the French Association of Economic Science, editor-in-chief of the journal Economie et Prévision, president of the scientific council of the Revue Economique; he remains a member of the editorial boards of several French and foreign journals. He directed the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management, the Laboratory of Economics, the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences of his university. His area of expertise covers macroeconomics as well as monetary and financial economics to which he has devoted most of his research work. His recent publications have focused on: «The role of the financial sector in the ecological transition», «Monetary policies under the influence of fiscal dominance», «The origins of monetary policy theory».
