Mary-Françoise Renard is emeritus professor at the University of Clermont Auvergne and researcher at CERDI. Associate of the faculties of Economics, she is a State doctor in Economics and Doctor in Development Economics. She is also honorary dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
A specialist in the economics of China, she is a member of the editorial board of China Economic Review. She has been a visiting professor at Wuhan University and the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
She is also very involved in the popularization of economics with a wide audience.
