Yves VEYRIER

Yves Veyrier is the Secretary General  of Force Ouvrière since November 2018. He graduated from the Ecole d'Ingénieur des Travaux de la Météorologie in 1984. He very quickly became involved in the Force Ouvrière union (National Union of Meteorological Engineers and Technicians), and became its leader in 1985. In 1995, he became secretary of the FO Federation of Equipment, Transport and Services until 2004 when he was elected to the confederal board.

 

Yves Veyrier has also been vice-chairman of the International Labour Organization's Committee on Freedom of Union since 2009.

 

He was a member of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) from 2007 to 2015 where he carried out several missions ranging from adviser to President of the FO Group and President of the European and International Affairs Section from 2010 to 2015.
