Jakob VON WEIZSÄCKER

Biographie

Jakob von Weizsäcker serves as Chief economist and Director General for Economic and Fiscal Policy and Global Economy at the German Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany. From 2014 to 2019, he was a Member of the European Parliament for Thuringia (Germany). Previously, he worked - among others - at the Ministry for Economic Affairs of Thuringia, the Brussels-based think tank Bruegel, the World Bank and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs.
