Bio
Jean-Paul Julia, 53, began his career in 1997 at the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry. He subsequently held several positions at the General Directorate of the Treasury, the Interministerial Committee for Industrial Restructuring (Ciri), the IMF, the World Bank, and the Office of the Minister of Finance and Public Accounts. In 2015, he joined BRED Banque Populaire as Director of Corporate Banking and member of the Executive Committee. In May 2021, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Banque Populaire Bourgogne Franche-Comté (BPBFC). As of June 2023, he holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at BRED Banque Populaire. Jean-Paul Julia is a graduate of ENA (national academy for public administration) and holds a Master’s degree in Public Law.
