Bio


Ignacy Niemczycki is Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. He served as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. Previously, he was an employee of government administration, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU. Between 2013 and 2015, Ignacy Niemczycki was head of the European Affairs Department at Polityka Insight. He graduated in sociology from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and political science from the School of Social Sciences (diploma from Lancaster University). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. He also completed postgraduate studies in agriculture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and organic farming at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He was a scholarship holder of the U.S. Department of State's IV LP program and the Landecker Democracy Fellowship. He runs an organic farm in Masuria.
