Bris ROCHER

  • Chairman
  • Rocher Group

Bio

Bris Rocher was born in 1978 in the Paris region. After several years with the Rocher Group at the start of his career, during which he was able to discover many of its businesses and branches, and a spell with Arthur Andersen, Bris Rocher took over as Managing Director of the Rocher Group in 2006. Under his aegis, the group has grown over the years to include a number of brands such as Stanhome and Arbonne. Today, it is a leading international group in plant-based cosmetics, with sales of over €2 billion and a workforce of nearly 14,000. After 14 years as Chairman and CEO of the Rocher Group, founded by his grandfather in 1959, he handed over the Group's general management to Jean-David Schwartz in June 2023 to devote himself fully to his role as Chairman, focusing on sustainability and the long term. Through his experiences, Bris Rocher has forged the conviction that the best business models are worthless unless the fundamentals that ensure a company's credibility are respected. This conviction was confirmed in 2019, when the Groupe Rocher became the first international group to adopt the status of ‘société à mission’ under the French PACTE Act. This pioneering spirit led Bruno le Maire and Olivia Grégoire to entrust Bris Rocher with writing the Rocher report: ‘Rethinking the place of businesses in society: assessment and prospects two years after the Pacte law’, to be submitted in 2021. Since 2024, he has also been Chairman of the Green Impact Index Consortium, the organisation that built and promotes the distribution of the Green Impact Index, an environmental and societal scoring and labelling tool for products. The aim of this initiative is to improve the impact standards of the cosmetics, food supplements and well-being products industries by providing consumers with more information’
