Béatrice Mathieu is a French economist and journalist. She previously worked for the banking sector and in a consulting firm. She then moved into the press, writing for several business magazines (La Vie Financière, L'Usine Nouvelle, L'Expansion). She became editor-in-chief of L'Expansion in 2013. Today, she is deputy editor-in-chief and head of the economics department at the news magazine L'Express.
