Sophie PATURLE

Bio

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, holder of a Master's degree in Economics and a DECF (Diplôme d’Études Comptables et Financières), Sophie Paturle has developed extensive experience in private equity at BTP Capital, Crédit du Nord and later Société Générale. In 2005, she co-founded Demeter IM, a pioneering private equity firm and a European leader in ecological transition investing. Following its merger with Cerea, she is now Founding Managing Partner of Demea Sustainable Investment. An active member of France Invest for nearly 25 years, she founded and chaired both the “France Invest avec Elles” Committee and the “Industry and Ecological Transition” Committee. In June 2025, she was unanimously elected President of France Invest for a two-year term. Sophie Paturle is a Knight of the French National Order of Merit and a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
