Appointed as the Member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Mongolia by the Parliament in January 2025. She is a banker and development economist, social entrepreneur with 38 years of extensive international working experience throughout her career in Mongolia, UK, USA, Russia and China. She made valuable contributions to the development of a two-tier banking system in Mongolia and the development of banking, finance, and securities markets. Previous working experiences include the Deputy Governor and London Representative of the Bank of Mongolia, Executive Director at Millennium Challenge Corporation’s MCA-Mongolia, Director for Mongolia at the Board of International Investment Bank in Hungary, Advisor to international Financial institutions as well as to Minister of Labor and Social Protection and National Board of Social Insurance and an independent non-executive director of the top Mongolian corporates such as Oyu Tolgoi, Erdenes Mongol and State Bank of Mongolia. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in the USA and Business Administration from University of Commerce and Business in Mongolia, and a Bachelor’s first-class degree in Banking and Finance from the Baikal State University in Russia. She is in the leading positions of the international and professional women organizations. She earned certificates in Leadership, Management, Accounting, Governance, Economic Development, Macroeconomics, Environmental Governance. She completed Executive Courses of School of International and Public Policy of Hitotsubashi University in Japan and Oxford University on Oil, Gas and Mining Governance.
