Global Head of MIS Assessments (MISA) - Moody's

Myriam Durand is the Global Head of Moody’s Risk Assessments (MRA), a new Moody’s subsidiary paving the way in creating global standards to evaluate and measure non-financial risks. These transparent assessments target areas such as Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG), reputation and cyber risks. Myriam is also Country Manager for France, overseeing Moody’s activities in the country.

Prior to her appointment as Global Head of MRA, Myriam was a Managing Director – Co-Head of the EMEA Corporate Finance Group for Moody’s Investors Service. She also led ESG efforts in the EMEA region, helping MIS to incorporate ESG risks into credit analysis and coordinating related outreach activities, including speaking engagements at COP21 and COP23. Myriam previously served as Managing Director, heading a team of corporate analysts based in Paris, Milan and London covering several corporate sectors.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2003, Myriam held the position of Director – Senior Banker at Citigroup. Myriam graduated from Sciences Po and holds a Master degree in finance and banking from University of Paris-Dauphine.
