Isabelle Gounin-Lévy graduated from the Institute of Political Studies of Aix en Provence, and holds a Public Law Master. She began her career in the written press at the ‘Dauphiné Libéré’ and carries on in the ‘Figaro’.
She was quickly drawn to economic subjects, and successively worked at the ‘Revenu Français, ‘Option Finance’ and at the ‘Tribune’. She then specialised (herself) in the area of banking and insurance.
During this period, she collaborated with Europe 1 for stock exchange informations before diving into television and becoming involved in the adventure of LCI’s creation. On this channel, she was able to take advantage of her economic culture in order to intervene in newspapers as a specialised journalist, but she also performed jobs of TV presenter for the ‘Journal de l’Eco’ and the ‘Invité de l’Eco’.
She is also a reporter and a broadcaster, during debates led by the channel and their partners. Finally, she becomes a producer-director during interviews with CEOs throughout France. In 2017, the year of French presidential election, she particularly took interest into the decryption of the economic programs of the political candidates.
